Kim Te

Kim is an experienced dietitian with fourteen years of specialist nutrition expertise across surgical, renal and gastroenterology care. His career began in Auckland with Waitemata District Health Board before heading to London to work for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. On returning to New Zealand, he joined Auckland District Health Board as a dietitian in the National Heart and Lung Transplant team and the National Intestinal Failure & Rehabilitation Service (NIFRS).
Now based in Dunedin, Kim divides his time between private practice and Te Whatu Ora – Southern. He specialises in IBS and the low FODMAP diet as well as bariatric surgery, while supporting clients across many other areas of nutrition as needed.
A proud Dunedin local and New Zealand-born Cambodian, Kim enjoys working collaboratively to help clients improve their quality of life through timely, tailored nutrition care.
