Weight struggles are frequently linked with frustration, shame, or a sense of failure, particularly after repeated attempts to lose weight. These feelings are real and valid, and they deserve understanding rather than dismissal. 

Supportive care recognises that emotional wellbeing matters. Feeling listened to, respected, and understood can make a significant difference in health outcomes. Discretion, empathy, and clear communication help create a space where people feel safe to explore their options. 

Addressing weight with compassion isn’t just kinder, it’s more effective.
