Kim is an experienced dietitian with fourteen years of specialist nutrition expertise across surgical, renal and gastroenterology care. His career began in Auckland with Waitemata District Health Board before heading to London to work for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. On returning to New Zealand, he joined Auckland District Health Board as a dietitian in the National Heart and Lung Transplant team and the National Intestinal Failure & Rehabilitation Service (NIFRS).

She worked for 10 years as a rural generalist dietitian based at Dunstan and Queenstown hospitals and is experienced in working with people of all ages with a wide range of health conditions.
